शिवसेना आगामी गुजरात विधानसभा चुनाव में 70 से 75 सीटों पर चुनाव लड़ेगी। पार्टी का मानना है कि भारतीय जनता पार्टी हिंदुओं की भावना के संरक्षण के लक्ष्य को भूल गई है, इसलिए वह हिंदुत्व के मुद्दे पर यहां चुनाव लड़ेगी।
पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री मनमोहन सिंह ने ‘नोटबंदी’ पर मोदी सरकार पर करारा हमला बोलते हुए कहा कि ‘नोटबंदी संगठित लूट है’ और यह मोदी सरकार की बड़ी भूल है। उन्होंने कहा कि ‘इससे आम आदमी को परेशानी हुई और समझ में नहीं आता की सरकार को नोटबंदी की सलाह किसने दी।‘
